Update: Subscribe by Email and Tweet!

Hello, everyone. I’ve made a couple new additions to Deliciae. If you look over to your right, I’ve added a way to subscribe by email. I realized some of you may not use RSS feeds or don’t know what RSS feeds are. If you don’t, that’s alright! For some sites I prefer posts emailed to me so I figured I should add that feature to mine!

Also, if you look at the bottom of each post, next to the Stumble¬† and Digg buttons, I’ve added a way for you to “tweet this” or submit it to Twitter. So if you ever want to share what you’re reading with your friends in an instant, you now have the option to do that!

Twitter is becoming one of the biggest links between friends and strangers all across the world. If you haven’t signed up yet, you should head on over there! Use it for your random thoughts throughout the day, use it to keep up to date with friends through your cell phone, or use it for networking. Whatever the case, Twitter is a very popular tool to just… connect.

I’ve also added my blog on Technorati, and will do more with that later when I have a decent amount of content.

Updating everything by hand and inserting social bookmarking buttons manually after every single page is very difficult. (Especially if I decide to add another social media site like Twitter into the mix where I must update every single previous post.) I realize there are easier ways to do this.

I’m planning to buy my own domain name in the near future and install WordPress so I could take full advantage of the plugins, but I’m going to wait until I start my new job!

I’ll try my best to keep up with everything by hand until then!
